Flying lessons

This Fall I was craving some inspiration and some solid reference material as I tugged at this wing thread a little more. My son and I headed to the Raptor center in Duncan. The barn owl was pure magic. I think they will continue to play heavy in my work. I find it interesting that owls largely symbolize wisdom in our culture. The one's I've been lucky enough to get close to have a very sweet innocent sort of body language.
